Suppressor Compliance & Legal Guide

Navigating the legal landscape of suppressor ownership is straightforward when you have the right information. At Apokrisis, we ensure our customers are informed, safe, and fully compliant with all U.S. firearm regulations.

Legal Requirements
  • Be at least 21 years of age to purchase from a dealer.
  • Be a legal resident of the United States.
  • Reside in a state where suppressors are legal (currently 42 states).
  • Be legally eligible to possess a firearm.
NFA Transfer Process
  • We register your Suppressor and serial number once manufactured. ​​
  • We submit the Transfer to your Local FFL and Ship the physical unit. 
  • Your FFL Dealer, upon receipt your unit will request that you to come in to complete an ATF Form 4 and your fingerprint card. 
  •  Your suppressor stays with your dealer until ATF approval. 
  • Once Approved the FFL will call you to pick it up and you can go shooting. 
Responsible Use
  • Documentation: Keep a digital or physical copy of your approved Form 4 with the suppressor.
  • Interstate Travel: Some states require notification before traveling with NFA items.
  • Secure Storage: Ensure your suppressor is stored securely to prevent unauthorized access.
  • Compliance: Use suppressors only for lawful purposes.
